My Christmas
Christmas is officially over BOOO! :-(
I am due to return to work tomorrow which is extremely depressing to say the least, although I will admit I am feeling a little bored after spending the last 2 days at home eating, watching TV and not doing much else! But I am still not looking forward to returning to the usual routine so quickly.
This year I have been spoiled and received some amazing gifts. I loved seeing my friends and family open their presents too and everyone seemed happy with what they got. Unfortunately my mum has a really bad chest infection and cold so she spent most of the day feeling poorly but she still enjoyed Christmas with the help of paracetamol and various other medication!
Christmas dinner was delicious, my mum and I don’t eat meat so for dinner we had salmon, trout, lots of Brussels sprouts (yummy!), parsnips, carrots and potatoes. My sister insisted on having tomato ketchup with hers as usual – so classy! For dessert we had Christmas pudding and clotted cream, another of my festive favorites.
After unwrapping presents next to the open fire and enjoying lunch we spent the rest of the day playing with our new things and watching TV and films. I was tired after all of the excitement and was in bed by 10pm. I am 21 years old I promise...
Today has been pretty much the same and I have lazed about watching TV and online shopping.
Although it is sad to think it’s a whole 354 days until it’s Christmas again, I am still looking forward to the New Year and excited to see what it brings.
